GETTING STARTED
Those who have limited experience in technology research, development, and commercialization will want to browse the Knowledge Center to gain understanding of the many critical issues involved in moving an idea from the concept stage to the marketplace. Later, a stop at the Resource Directory will help you identify state, regional, and federal programs designed to provide the assistance you need to succeed. The Directory is searchable and will lead you to numerous sources of funding, technical assistance, and business assistance.
Those with more experience may spend time at Technology Opportunities. Currently this section provides direct links to federal and university technologies available for commercialization. We will soon be adding announcements of funding opportunities, such as through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs, the Montana Board of Research & Commercialization Technology, the Montana Growth through Ag program, and others as they become available.
